Okay, so I was the unlucky soul who got stuck with making DarkLiger a present. lol. j/k. Well, seeing as I can't draw worth a damn and am no good with making graphics, the only other alternative, was to make you an AMV DL. ^^ Not quite sure on how to put an AMV under the tree, but meh, this will do good enough. hehe.

Here's the storyline for this AMV, just so you aren't completely lost by it. lol.

Verse 1 - The AMV starts out by showing how Scar plotted to kill Muffy. Unlike the actual storyline of TLK though, Scar actually told Simba that he killed him, back when Simba was still a cub mind you, hence the voice overs in the beginning. Poor Simba still had to stay in the pride though and grew up hating Scar for what he did, but he never had the courage to face him for his actions. That is, until the day that Simba witnesses his mother being physically abused by Scar. This pretty much sends Simba over the edge and he stops at nothing to kill Scar.

Chorus 1 - This shows the fight between Scar and eventually, how Simba finishes the job, but by doing so, he's become no better than Scar himself was.

Verse 2 - Now, we flash forward a bit and pick up with The Outlanders. In this storyline, Zira's neglagence towards Nuka leads him to try and prove to her that he's worthy of her love by trying to kill Simba. (same as TLK2SP), but ends up losing his own life for his efforts. Zira, being the twisted lioness that she is, pits the blame on Kovu, instead of realizing her own faults. Kovu knows that it was his mother's cold hearted ways that lead up to this situation though and the more she pushes him, the more he begins to loathe her.

Chorus 2 - This depicts Kovu, who has been pushed too far by his mother's actions and ends up shoving her off a cliff into the raging river below. Again, much like Simba's situation, Kovu's actions end up turning him towards the darker side of life.

Bridge - With Zira dead, Kovu figures that Simba would have no problem with letting him join back up with The Pridelanders, since he killed Zira, the one lioness that Simba himself still hated. Kovu's motives are just to get into the pride, so he can be with Kiara, who he has had an attraction to for the longest time now. Unfortunately for Kovu though, Simba still holds a grudge against Kovu, for being the son of Zira. This obviously pisses Kovu off even more and he plots to kill Simba.

Finale - Kiara finds her father, badly injured and about to die. She ends up confronting Kovu and telling him that there's no way she'd be with him after what he did to her father. (just imagine her saying that, as obviously there's no voice overs I could use for that. lol). Again, this really doesn't settle well with Kovu and pushes him further into the darkness that's already consuming him. Kovu decides to do the only thing he can think of. He goes and asks Kiara to take a walk with him, appearing to want to patch things up, but in reality, he leads her to a well crafted trap, involving fire, hence the Fire Rescue Scene from TLK2SP, but this is anything but a rescue. Kovu ditchs Kiara in the midst of the panic and eventually finds her again later on, almost dead from what she had to go through. Kovu's final bit of compassion fades though as he looks down at her dying frame, causing him to carelessly drown her in the river, symbolically washing his sanity away with her life. The AMV ends with Kovu looking down into the water that swallowed his one and only love, along with his dignity, sealing his fate and you can pretty much guess the rest.

Second, I love it KM! It was amazing, thank you very much for the gift. You did a fantastic job on it, and I love the song you chose. You would be right, Breaking Benjamin is one of my favorite bands and a song from their newest album.

Now that brings me to my gift, I had Amanda for secret santa. I decided to draw Kiara, unfortunately I failed at the coloring for her underbelly. I hope that you like it Amanda.
