ok, so have you ever been working on a picture, but your computer freaks out in the middle of it and you lose your work? yeah? well, i had just finished making picture #2 for the 100 pic challenge... JUST FINISHED! And when i went to close Photoshop, i accidentally clicked "no" when asked if i wanted to save it...it's gone... all that work! Gone. i think i'm gonna be sick right now. anyway, just felt like sharing. has this ever happened to anyone else? i think i've lost my inspiration for at least a week. any of you got some stories like this?

well not to me I have to use an online picture editor for some of my cutouts like "Keeper Of Not One Of Us" down there in my siggy's
I use my Sony Vegas Movie Editor just to put the cutouts together,add text and save like that!

yeah. i did a quicky version of what i had... not as great, but i can't be bothered to try it again. i love real media because it's not as easy to lose your art lol

Uggh, yes I hate when that happens! That happen when I drew a good Mufasa as a cub, I accidently clicked "no" and all my work!

man I hate when that happens! It sucks, I can understand that! All work for nothing.... I hope it doesn't demotivate you to re-start. Computers are @*^#!!

omg, yes. it was on one of my best pics yet. I was just going for the resize and then I'd hit save after that and Paint Shop Pro goes all screwy and stops responding. I was only able to screengrab a faded out 25% zoomed out version of my pic.

I was able to get it close to the correct color, but it messed up my shading and grass detail bad as well as left it too small.

Holy fudge, yeah! That has happened to me ¬.¬
You see, I was on MS Paint and I did a cool pic of a cheetah, but I had to get off in a hurry. So I shut everything off, and when it said, 'Save changes to untitled?' I clicked no
I was pretty slow that day lol, so only a minute later did I realise what I'd done! I felt so stupid >.<

i did with my 10 page essay O.o but lucky i saved 6 pages =/ but i made me mad ind i started yelling at the computer =/

This has happened to me SO many times. >.< This one time I was working on an amazing pic of my character Fura, and photoshop got all screwy so I lost the pic forever. I haven't tried to redraw it since then because I don't think I'd ever be able to draw so good again.
On the bright side, I've now learned to save documents/pictures before I start working on them. That way if the computer freezes there's always autorecovery. Oh and I hit ctrl+s every 10 minutes lol.
