My husband suprised me with a trip to the West Midlands Safari Park at the weekend and it was immense!!! Seriously amazing. The animals were so calm and placid and I even got to feed a giraffe! I thought I would share some pictures of the animals (mostly lions!) that I took.

And as luck would have it I wound down the window and got a picture face to face with her!!!

I was in tears when we had been through the lions. I could not express how happy I was to be able to just spend a little time studying these creatures. Hopefull in the near future I will get to go on a proper safari and see them in the wild!
