Okay, this is probably going to be the only off-topic thread that I make here on MLk, seeing as I'm trying to keep all of my posts here, Lion King related as much as possible, but I just have to make an acception for when it comes to Pride. ^^ I first got introduced to this movie by a good friend of mine on YouTube, who goes by the UserName Losty006. She told me about this movie that I had never heard of until then, and encouraged me to watch it. Lucky for me, the movie was on YouTube, so I sat down and watched it. Wow! I really have to say that I was just stunned. For those of you who have never seen Pride, I'm telling you now, if you're a fan of TLK at all, you'll absolutely LOVE this movie. ^^ It's like TLK in real time. lol. Here's a quick summary of what the movie is about.

The story revolves around a pride of lions (much like TLK). The leaders of the Pride are a comical duo of lions named James and Eddie, who are the stereotypical images of male lions at their finest. lol. ^^ The lead lioness in the Pride is Mucheeba, who has two cubs, Suki and Linus, to whom the storyline mainly focuses upon. Without spoiling too much of the movie, I will just give a brief overview of the plot, seeing as I really think all of you should watch this movie at least once! It's just that awesome! lol. ^^ So, much like TLK and TLK2SP, Suki and Linus' Pride are under seige by a rival band of lions, known as Wanderers, who are led by two male lions named Dark and Harry. After some traumatic events in the beginning of the movie, it is easily established that the two prides dislike each other greatly, however, much like TLK2SP, a love forms between two members of the warring prides, forcing a lot of conflict and drama to unfold. That's basically all I'm going to say about it, because you'll have to watch the movie to truly experience its greatness for yourself. lol. ^^ There are some amazing voice talents in this movie too and I just know you all will love Pride just as much as I did. ^^ So, without further ado, here are the links so that you may watch Pride yourself. These links are from YouTube, and I don't typically endorse watching movies for free in this manner, but for Pride, I'll let it slide but I strongly encourage all of you to buy this movie if you like it. ^^ You can get it nice and cheap off Amazon.com brand new. ^^ Hope you all like this movie and I'll even throw in some of my Pride AMVs that I've created, although you might want to watch the movies first, so you'll understand the storylines of my AMVs. lol. ^^ Have fun everyone and feel free to comment about this movie here.

Note: While this movie is cubby friendly, there are a few vivid scenes of nature at its rawest within the movie, along with a small amount of crude humor. This was a BBC film, and the limits of what they consider Cub Friendly may or may not fit within the boundaries of what you find tasteful. Just keep this in mind before viewing. ^^

UPDATE: Unfortunately, the version of Pride that was up on YouTube, is no longer available for viewing. This means you will actually have to go out and rent or buy Pride yourself. Or if you can't find it, just send me a PM and I'll see if I can help you.

I'd love to watch this film some day, especially since KK was the one who first told me about it. His private RP that I'm in is actually surprisingly similar to this movie, even though I've never watched it before in my life lol.

This is definitely a great movie in my eyes, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this magnificent film. ^^ The story reminds me a whole lot like TLK2SP and the voice talents were very well too. Since we're not going to be getting a TLK film in the future, this movie is probably the next best thing. When it comes to the characters of the film, I loved every one of them! ^^ I've watched this film numerous of times now and my brother seen it once too. Surprising enough, he actually liked it too. ^^

You totally should Amanda. ^^ I bet you'll love it. ^^ lol, I suppose the movie had a nice impact on KK. hehe.^^
