This. To be fair I think that applies to most people not just males. As soon as you grow out of the "Ewww girls cooties!" phase if you wait too long to ask someone out, someone else will come along and ask them out instead and you'll miss what could have been a great opportunity.
But either way, if you do nothing then nothing will happen and that doesn't do anything for anybody. So I say give it a shot. I did and things are going well for me.
I might, I'll have to build up some courage, but I think I might just ask first if he see's me as a friend then I guess we can go from there. Also, I'm glad to hear things are going well for you!
