Judging by the plenty number of definitions of what a furry is,I don't always know if I would call myself one. If you love cartoons that have animals with human characteristics (TLK,Kung Fu Panda etc.) doesn't that in one way make you a furry? (semi-sarcasm) Seriously,the thing about the furry fandom is just the same as with any other thing people do not understand nor even try to understand. I take hating on furries for being themselves is just another form of discrimination, as it would be for people who are homophobic. It's basically the same thing, people being ignorant and judging others for who they are and what they want to be. If people like to dress up in fursuits,if they like to draw art,if they like being part of a community like that,who are you to judge them for that?
With that said,I can say that in one way I am a furry, while in another I am not... More yes then no... But I will always defend a furry from the people who take thoughtless judging and discriminating for someone being himself/herself is righteous.
