I'll probably wait till the end of January to remind her. I could go there with my bff too... It would help me, I guess? :hmm:

Wowie you mean I could get a Christmas job?? Income?? Being a contributing member of society for once finally?? Okay that's an interesting turn of events, just hope my knee won't collapse again because of this and I can arrange my physiotherapy to suit the shift. :ehh2:

Welp, I think it's time to go back to bed. I've barely been up for like an hour and a half and it's already proving to be one of those days.

Good luck, Kops!

Husband and I did our good deed for the day. Poor homeless man on the street earlier looked frozen, so we bought him a large hot chocolate and a warm sausage roll :) He was ever so grateful bless him.

^ Thank you very much! :) I think I'll do it but I just hope nothing goes wrong with my injury, plus I'm nervous because it'd be my first proper job ever and I'm concerned over how it'll go.

Also bless @ the homeless man, my father always said it's always best to give them food/drink and it does make them pretty happy. :)

Wondering what to do right now... hm. :thoughtful2:

What kind of job is it, Kops? From my experience if you physically and mentally handle a job, it'll go alright, even if it seems impossible at first. Working with injuries can majorly suck, but humans tend to underestimate their own capabilities until they've tried something, so maybe it won't be too much for your knee.

My plan for tomorrow is to whack out the last three scenes of my draft and then start on the revisions. Then work Christmas meal in the evening.

Warehouse packer, which I personally prefer as it doesn't involve customer service and talking to people much haha. I'd find that more taxing personally. Of course walking and standing around for about 8 hours doesn't sound fun... but somehow in the last couple days my knee has been walkable on, occasionally hurts but definitely able to walk which was pretty surprising considering what the fracture clinic said. Wish I'd asked about whether I'd be able to work this month while my knee is still recovering but I just didn't expect my knee to be walkable on until January so I thought working was out of the question.

I wish I could just arrange my physiotherapy before taking this job so I could ask them instead but I'd just be losing money if I waited until my first appointment. Bad timing. :pout:

I am happy about this though because if it works itself out I'll actually have money to get Christmas presents, it's not a nice feeling being unable to do that during the holiday season. :/

Well done. I don't really give them money because it's never going to be enough and will possibly end up wasted but with food and drink and warm blankets etc they're actually getting used.

Going to play some more dishonoured! Hopefully I can finish it so I can ask someone to get me dishonoured 2 for Christmas :3

Hopefully it comes in the mail soon so that I can apply for that one job. While it will be a longer walk for me, it's more focused on what I'm in college for, so that will help me a lot, especially after college. And it should pay better, too, unlike my current job (only $75 for two weeks? That's barely enough for my phone bill!). No more being yelled at for making food wrong or going too slow or whatever else they like to yell at me about.
