Yeah. I dunno if I missed some huge amount of battles somewhere, but my team is levels 21-23 right now. I've only turned Exp Share on a couple short times, so maybe I should have kept it on. I'm wondering if the game is structured the way it is due to so many people complaining about Exp Share being "broken" last gen. Every trial has made me feel like I should be higher leveled than I have been. Was trying to maintain difficulty by keeping the Exp Share off and not grinding up too much, but I'm starting to feel like I should keep Exp Share on.

Edit: Aaaand I just came upon a bunch of trainers I missed on Route 6. Probably took on the Fire trial before I was supposed to, lol.[/quote]
I've been making sure I explore everything I can before progressing, which I do in every game basically, and I left the Exp. Share on. So that's probably it. I've just completed the Electric trial, and my Pokémon are all ~40, while most of my enemies are low 30s or high 20s.

I do that too, dunno how I overlooked any trainers. Turns out it was only a couple trainers I missed, though. I thought maybe I had missed an entire area. Combed pretty much the entire island, didn't find much else. But with some grinding, got Rockruff to evolve and knocked out everything in one hit.

Anywho, I would like to wish the entirety of MLK a happy Thin Gibbons! Let us all be thankful for gibbons on this most glorious of days!

I hope my workmates aren't expecting me to work as fast as normal today, because I'm not going to. I'm gonna take it as easy as possible, and they can just deal with it. As long as I'm there and working at all, I'm not gonna get fired, so I'm not going to overwork myself, especially not since I still have three more days in there after this before I get a break.
