I hope one of the neighbors did kidnap Sid.

I mean, obviously I'd rather have him here. But if someone's got him locked in their house, at least he's got food, water, and shelter. It's better than a lot of the other things I fear may have happened.

^ Hopefully that's indeed what has happened, and he's safe and sound.

Geez, what's come over me? For the past half hour or more, my mind has been consumed by these thoughts... :huh9:

The fact that Sid had not been sticking around for breakfast in the morning lends evidence to my theory that he's trapped in someone's house. That and, how he would always disappear for the entire day without us knowing where he was. It's likely that he made friends with one of the neighbors, though I'd imagine he's not happy at being stuck inside their house. Will test this theory once the rain lets up. Hopefully they'll give Siddo back easily once they see that he's my cat.

For the love of Abby, please let this be what happened to Sid. I want my baby to be okay.

^ Hope it all goes ok with getting him back <3

Oh dear, cold round two for our family. I've avoided it so far, but I will more than likely go down hill tonight just before my work stint

Why don't kids listen? Ugh. I'm the boss for now, whether you like it or not, and there's nothing wrong with taking a quick nap.

I love how people usually see my opinions as "being egocentric". No, I'm not being egocentric, nor thinking I'm the boss, I just don't agree (or I do). First impressions really are "LOL".

Now that she's single again it's got me thinking about how close we got before she met her ex girlfriend and how we used to talk about the fun things we planned to do together, like go to London. Now she's using up some of her holiday days at the very same time as I'm going to London in January, and I'm wondering if that is fate?...

I sincerely cannot imagine the Christian god, whose son hung out with all the outcasts society had shunned, caring about what LGBT do in any way, shape, or form.

But hey, that's just silly old me.

Really baffled Christians aren't the first in line to support people like that knowing that, makes me think of Gandhi's thoughts on Christianity.

(Not meant to be towards reasonable Christians just fundamentalists by the way lol.

Urgh this was more strongly worded than intended. Just needed a vent.)

I feel the same way. It's baffling that a lot of Christians choose to hate, after Jesus imparted so many morals about loving thy neighbor and whatnot. The Bible doesn't really say much about homosexuality - the passage about "man shall not lie with man" is widely speculated to be more about the dangers of sharing stuff than it is about homosexuality (bearing in mind, the Bible was written before vaccines existed, so there was a pretty big disease threat). The Bible also contains a lot of wildly outdated things, such as selling your daughter or stoning her to death if she's not a virgin, so most of what the Bible says should be taken with a grain of salt. It's better to focus on the bigger morals gleaned from the stories therein, from the Ten Commandments, and from Jesus, than to focus on smaller passages written as a ruleset for life as it was thousands of years ago.

And I know plenty of Christians who take no issue with LGBT people. My thoughts here are more directed toward the ones who do.
