So Niantic's "solution" to the three-step glitch was to get rid of the steps altogether? Yeah ... that's not going to make Pokemon impossible to track at all ...

Battery save mode is gone as well, great now the game eats battery even faster and if you leave it open in your pocket you will accidentally butt press menus and potentially end up buying things in the store. Good job guys.
Honestly Niantic's refusal to communicate with their players as well as removing broken features instead of fixing them is what will be the death of the game. The nostalgia is starting to wear off and the developer's ignorance as well as Go's rushed release meaning the game launched with barely any features they promised in the trailer... Not good. The apps rating on the store is falling fast, it'll be a shame when the game dies due to Niantic's incompetence. I may not like the game but I do like seeing so many people sitting in parks together and all playing the game together and talking. But that'll soon be gone if they don't start listening and communicating with players.

So I think my PC's graphics card is dying. It's crashed my computer three times tonight, and I've noticed that one of its two fans doesn't like to spin anymore. It's always been a little on the unstable side in certain games, but three times in one night--all in games it used to be fine in--is enough for me to consider a new card.

With the release of the RX 480 this month, the first card ever to be manufactured with a lithography of 14nm, this would be a good time to buy a new one. Finally, I can get something that's significantly more powerful and efficient than my aging card for a decent price. Yet, there isn't a single one in stock anywhere. I've been checking for three hours now, and I saw one in stock for only about 3 minutes before it went out of stock again.

I started to order the card when it was in stock, and I submitted all the shipping and billing information and even confirmed it. But then I didn't get an order confirmation email; instead, I got an email telling me that the item is out of stock.

This is absurd.

Edit: now it says payment processed and order verified for packaging. Umm... yay?

Three in the morning is the perfect time to start contemplating how come jerks who treat people like utter crap just cos get to be happy while good people suffer. If I treated people like that, I'd be wracked with guilt and would NOT be happy. I don't get it. These people usually seem proud of what they've done, too, as they go to lengths to rub it in and show off that they are happy. My friends and I deserved better than we got, but I guess that's what being decent human beings gets you from time to time. It's only unfeeling jerks who get to just be carefree like that all the time. It's even better when they act victimized at some point in there too, and when they go to even further lengths to make good people feel worse because they derive some sadistic pleasure from being horrible to people they supposedly cared about.

So, we've all been screwed over by "Oh hey I'll get you a new phone because you are part of the company" deal. My dad was suppose to be getting a new phone and I would get his current one....but that looks unlikely now. Bleh. Looks like I may as well dip into my savings and get a phone that actually lets me use apps.
