UncoordinatedPisces wrote:^ It's not selfish, KD - it's just something of the human nature. We all want to be loved, and I'm incredibly lucky to have that someone special. I've been in your situation before, trying hard to please someone and my problem was ignoring the issues. As for best friends, like boyfriends/girlfriend they are always harder to manage than they look. My best friend is someone I see almost every day, and by God we get sick of each other - but we're there for each other at the end of the day, and our arguments always seem to be over, petty, insignificant stuff.

Enough of me though, I know we don't really talk but you've always seemed like a cool person to talk to, and its evident a lot of people around here like and appreciate you. I haven't got any solid advice, aside from saying that Skype is where most of the action takes place. I'm going to try and revive TinyChat over the summer too which will be like another MLK chatbox, but without the rules and a chance to video/voice call for people who don't have Skype. I know that doesn't equate to you finding what you're looking for, but I'm hoping the community can get stronger, as I intend to stay.

Probably babbled a whole lot of nothing there!

Yeah, I know it's not all great. When I had a best friend things were often very difficult on me, and on him. It kinda sucked, actually. Of course the thing is I don't see or interact with anyone anywhere near enough to get sick of them or anything. Off-site I tend to hear from people outside of family/work maybe once a week, and it's usually not the same people. I do interact with people on skype, but that's become very difficult as most of the people I'm closest to are part of a large friend group that includes someone whom I had a falling out with. So I can't be involved with the main group and I guess it's hard for people to make time for just me instead. Not that I blame them or anything, I know how things are. Also I don't do vid calls, so that makes it tough too.

And I hope you're successful with the TinyChat thing.

It's kinda nice playing Super Smash Bros Brawl with my brother and cousin and having nowhere I have to be to interfere. Do I get to do stuff like this, lol?

I wonder if other companies will ever consider remaking their own animated movies. I doubt it, but it'd be nice. I for one would love to see a Balto remake in CGI, with the type of scenery quality we got in The Polar Express. Since Disney are apparently making a movie about Togo's story it'd be nice to have a Balto remake that reworked the 1995 movie's storyline. Preferably starting with the removal of Muk and Luk...
