Ok, I may have phrased that badly-I know that nowhere near all Americans support guns-However, I can't think of any other western country that has such a general acceptance of it.

I'm 100% for gun control and I'm grateful I live in a country that has it. The only gun I've ever shot is a water gun.

But I do think the US need to tighten their gun laws or alter them.

The problem is if we started taking guns away from the average person it will lead to violent resistance. Many people will die, innocents included.

And making it illegal to own a gun? Criminals dont care about legality.

I'd love to live in a world where guns dont exist, knives are only used to chop vegetables and death is via natural causes but gun control needs to be done with the precision of heart surgery.

Granted-it wont be impossible to get guns into a country-but it makes it far more difficult.
