Welp, Digimon just won't be quite the same now. Neither Kouji Wada nor Yuko Mizutani survived to even see the end of Tri, this is such dreadful news and even more dreadful timing. I don't think my heart could handle hearing a finale song sung by a completely new singer for what's supposed to be a Digimon Adventure celebration anniversary, either.

I guess I can share some details now I have things slightly more figured out: the th show idea I'm working on (possibly it may end up being a webshow unless it really takes off and someone picks it up) is a travel show. Well it's sort of a travel show, I'll take a camera with me on an adventure to some really cool and hopefully interesting places and I'll point out some interesting stuff along the way. And there will be a bit of a hike at the end of the episode, wherein treasure will be hidden.
It won't be a huge amount, about £1500 worth of gold and silver for each episode of which there will be five. Then the series finale will be something a bit more special with a £10,000 worth treasure hunt.

The point is that people will be able to watch the show and then the co ordinates will be released for them to search for it themselves and have their own adventure / real life treasure hunt to find it. You could look at the episode for clues, landmarks, things I pointed out and showed off during the show that you can then see for yourself in person and know you're getting closer.
We have a couple of locations already chosen for this and have contacted the relevant authorities where we are certain we have a location locked in and so far there doesn't seem to be any real issues in the way of achieving something like this.

So what do you think? Something you would be interested in seeing become a thing?

It's prom today for my old high school. The only regret I had when I decided to leave at 16 (even though it wasn't a choice more than a necessity) was that I would miss prom. It looks like such a fun night, and my best friend is somehow looking even more gorgeous than normal.

I never went to my prom, and I still don't regret it. Music I hate? People I hate grinding all up on each other? Having to wear a dress, which makes me dysphoric? I don't think I would have had a very good time. There was also the likelihood that such a thing would trigger an anxiety attack, as I was worse when I was 18. I figure, why ruin the night for others? Imo prom is way overrated anyway. I don't really see what people like about it. I guess a couple decades ago, it would have been one last chance to connect with classmates before they go their separate ways, but even then, loud music would make that difficult. Nowadays, it feels kinda antiquated, because 90% or more of your classmates will be on social media.

If others find prom fun, whatever floats your boat, I guess. I just don't really see what's so great about it. Sorry to hear you had to miss it, though, because it is indeed sad to have to miss out on something you wanted to do.

^I agree with pretty much all you've said. I also didn't attend my high school prom and don't really regret it. People are constantly saying things like "It'll only happen to you once in a lifetime, you'll regret it!" and making it more and more overrated. At the end of the day, it's just a "party". I'd honestly prefer something like a dinner at a restaurant or whatever with all my classmates, rather than "prom" with all senior classes joined inside one space.

I might go to Jack's, though. Just so I can have a nice dance with my boyfriend since I barely get to see him. I won't even care that I won't know anyone because honestly who cares? lol

I don't remember who the prom king and queen were at my school because really who's gonna remember in five years? Aha.

High school is an experience I'd rather forget, so the sooner I can do that, the better! No point in elongating the process with prom. xD
