I don't even think it was purposely Eurocentric. The way Simba delivered the line it literally sounded like they'd put the English phrase on Google Translate to get the Greek translation and just delivered the line in the robotic manner Google Translate does in an American accent. I guess it sounded exotic enough to work for them...?
