My absolute favourite Elphaba is Rachel Tucker, the current Broadway Elphaba. I just can't get over her riffs and the "Tucker growl", she's my real Queen. Yet, I also love Willemijn and Idina.

Idina's such a bada** that she performs Defying Gravity mere minutes after an asthma attack. That alone may possibly make her the best Elphaba. It's breathy, but she still knocks it out of the park!

Yeah, that performance is amazing! I often go listen to it. The fact that she had had an asthma attack shortly before it is mind-blowing. I wish there were more videos of Idina's time in Wicked, to be honest...some of the available ones just don't do her justice, in my opinion.
