Just found out my aunt's tumors cannot be operated. She has terminal cancer. Any treatment now will be an attempt to prolong her life.

I've been reading articles on Pottermore for the better part of 2 hours - I love this series, I love this Universe, I love these characters. I hope someday I can make other people feel the same way about my own work

On that note I also dislike the new layout too, it's just so difficult to navigate for me and I've seen a lot of sites adopt it despite previous layouts being far more convenient. On the bright side we're apparently getting a Patronus quiz soon.

Okay. I forgot how messy I left my room. And I'm super tired due to lack of sleep and travelling (Plane was super delayed. Ruuuude!). I think I'm gonna try and clean up all the laundry, and the perhaps play some Stardew Valley or Guild Wars 2, and end the day by marathoning The Walking Dead or watching a movie. Currently undecided. But at least that's a plan.

Yeah, I noticed that they did away with the whole ""play" through the books" format - I was actually a Pottermore Beta tester back in the day but tbh I got kind of bored and never got past the first book. Now that I'm older though I find the extra information a lot more interesting, hence my enrapturement.

And don't even talk to me about the patronus quiz I'm ridiculously excited - I've wanted a JKR certified patronus quiz for years :')

A bit freaky, considering one of the main characters in the novel I'm trying to write is called "Rowan"

Yeah I was a beta tester too, I didn't care much for the mini-games besides the quizzes but I did think they were a much better concept than just a Buzzfeed-esque blog. I just don't care much for clickbaitey articles. Maybe if I get to rereading the books at some point I could try read the site but otherwise I'd rather not, layout is too difficult to navigate on a PC for me.

I'm a sorted Gryffindor too (though Slytherin being a very close second), wand is apparently a 'Maple wood with a dragon heartstring core, 13" and slightly yielding flexibility'. I don't know which house I more strongly identify as anymore though. I prefer Gryffindor's ideals but Slytherin is a better match sometimes.

And lol gotta love coincidences.

Edit: Oh god really?? Somehow they made Gryffindor's page even worse than the house letter you'd get on the previous site. It was literally two sentences with a huge section under it with gigantic links to other articles. Every other house's information page is ridiculously short too, what the hell? At least the other houses' sorting letters had effort put into them...
