Michael Giacchino's score for Jurassic World disappointed me a lot, and it still continues to be a let-down for what wasn't too horrendous of a sequel - but now that I think about it, I think this let-down was mainly to do with him competing against the almighty of cinematic scoring that is John Williams.
However, I will say, his score for Zootopia is beautiful and inspiring and wonderful to listen to. Reminds quite a bit of Thomas Newman's work for certain Pixar films. I'm loving it a lot.
