^ EDIT: Braces, huh? Don't worry. I was really, really incredibly sore for the first few days after I got mine but other than that was fine for the 2+ years I had them. Even when they got tightened and had to have the rubber bands and springs added. (My mouth was pretty crooked and weird before I had them lol).
