Ugh today was weird. Had two panic attacks in the night and another one this morning . Had to walk over to my Mum's and fortunately she managed to calm me <3. Rest if the day was spent playing Far Cry Primal and resting up.

This is a really big moment for me. I can't believe this all is happening... but life's definitely been looking up. Truth be told, I've spent three and a half years on this website and even in that time, things have changed so much that I can barely recognize the broken husk of a person that I once was. I feel finally free of that burden. I'm in control of my own fate, and what's more, with this job this summer, the possibility of free rent at the barn next year (in exchange for work I will probably like doing), and the fact that I'm getting more financial aid than my bill for spring quarter...

Holy crap. I'm financially independent. At 17. I don't have to rely on my parents (or anyone else) for anything. I can go do my own things with the knowledge that I'm an adult, in basically every way... and, most importantly, I don't have to live in the shadow of my past any longer. My childhood is finally over and I can now truly be free of it for the first time.

This is the highest point in my life thus far, by a wide margin. I can't even really describe how grateful and at ease I feel. I can only hope that I don't let this go...

... because now I finally feel like my own person.

So happy for you Twin! Hopefully I will be able to join you in this *life is as good as ever* mood soon Next year will hopefully be the time
