@Tsuki; I haven't played it yet, wanted to ages ago and am planning to soon, but... man they messed with my fav character. Lol I guess... maybe it's not really that bad... I'll have to play it and see.

@Marizzle; Yeah, the movie was based on the book, like many Disney films are. I've not read the book myself though. I did hear they were gonna follow it more closely but scrapped some things they thought would upset kids too much.

Yeh the film was based on the book . Let's just say....it doesn't have a happy ending. I read it a while ago but not sure where my copy has gone .

IMNW- Yeh I'm pleased the cartoon isn't like that . The ending of the book.....Gah!

Yeah, I knew about Bambi and, well, about most Disney movies. I just never knew that The Fox And The Hound also was based on a book. I'm not surprised that it's "darker" than the movie...most of them are like that, too.
