Oh god don't even remind me of Clayton's death, I'll never stop having nightmares about that scene. I forgot how dark Tarzan is.

Late reply, but I know. I barely even remember Tarzan, as it's been years since I last watched it, but Clayton's death in all its disturbing glory still sticks out in my mind. I'm always like "What the heck were you thinking, Dinsey?!"

Honestly, I remember being afraid to watch Tarzan as a kid because it had a LOT of dark scenes. It's quite the underappreciated film, the musical score and songs kick ass. Phil Collins, was it? Certainly made the film so much better. The more serious storyline makes for a greater watch as you get older too.

I wish Brave hadn't included the triplets in the film, the more I think about them, the less sense their existence makes in it. A film doesn't always need comic relief characters to be entertaining, hell sometimes they take away from the experience. Like the film otherwise, them accents.

Bought my candle to light tonight for my friend <3 Nearly had a breakdown last night. Gave the beautiful soft ornament she handmade for my daughter to her. She gently grabs it, hugs it and gives me a huge smile. I nearly burst into tears. So sweet. I've hung it above her cot now so we can all see it <3

It's just disturbing for a movie that's targeted at really young kids. Obviously, I'm not mentally scarred by Clayton's death, and it's not bad now, but as a kid I was freaked out by that scene.

^If I must be honest, Clayton's death never really "affected me". Actually, I often forgot about it, although I watched Tarzan countless times. Most of the time, I'd focus on the happier scenes and the songs.
