I wonder what this meeting next week is all about? We never have meetings these days.

It's great. Watched it in one of the movies under the stars events with roasted marshmallows and all, best way to enjoy a film... Possibly.
Hope you're having an amazing time!

Going to watch Jurrassic World on blu ray tonight. Treated myself to a little shopping spree today so going to chill out and enjoy the spoils for the rest of the evening.

Love my manager. I've had a letter from my company to say that I've been allocated by my manager as an "expert" in my job role. So not only have I had my annual 1% pay rise this month, but I get another one in April when this new "expert" status is introduced.

Are you on less than £7.20? Because that's the new living wage (replacing the national minimum wage) that will be compulsory from April. My company has already gone up to it (because we always have pay rises in October), so the youngsters at work who were on about £6.90 have had a nice little pay rise (in fact they've been given £7.40ph). I was already on more than that so I've just been given a standard 1% increase, with the promise of a further raise in April.

Plus, by April 2020 every worker in the UK over 25 will be on a minimum of £9.00ph, so that to look forward to.

^ Cool thanks! :D Yeh I'm on 7.4 an hour so we should get a slightly higher rise as they usually give us a bit above minimum wage. If they don't though, I won't be working extra hard like I used to :P
