Everyone in my town is at the firework display and I'm not because I have no friends to go with. All I can hear are the sounds of the fireworks and everyone having a good time while I'm in my house alone. I bet my 'friends' went without inviting me. I honestly think I'm the only one in town not at it. I guess it's not as bad as last year when I had to watch my crush kiss this girl when CYFTLT came on.

Dude, everyone is an idiot in some way or another. I can do long division in my head, but it takes me half an hour to heat up some nachos, and I make a mess in the kitchen every time.

Just laugh at yourself and pretend you did it intentionally. It'll earn you a few cool points.

Do you really want to watch fireworks, or do you just want to spend time with friends?

I know it sounds cheesy, but just remember that there could be someone in the exact same situation you're in, but you'd never even know it. That's the problem with being unpopular--you don't know that you're the only one, because all you ever hear about are the popular kids.

Also, everyone gets left out from time to time, so there's really nothing unusual here. No one really sits at the center of the universe, and no one ever will. That's just life. Those people who think they are so much more important than everyone else are just delusional, and probably mentally deficient in at least one area.

But that's also why good friends are hard to find and important to keep, once you have them.
