Yes, they are hateful. I've talked to several members who say they feel insulted by what has been said in this topic. That's enough.

I'm not saying what people can and can't do with their lives, I'm just saying they have to follow the rules of this website. If they want to live a life of hate, that's fine and dandy - but there's a website that's better suited for them: http://www.wtf.com

Hate is terrible, sure I can agree with that, but so are most things about humanity, but we're humans so we have to live with it.

And as for discrimination, who doesnt discriminate?? I'm guilty and so are all of you. It's just the way the human mind determines what is what. I mean lets face it, if someone comes at you with a murderous expression on their face, you're gonna fight them or you're gonna run, you're not going to keep an open mind and "get to know them"

And revision of my last post, perhaps one barely hateful post was made, but thats it. I made it very clear in my posts that I dont hate furries in general, just a certain type of furry, and I was very specific about that type.

since I don't consider myself a furry, you're wrong on the persecution complex thing. I believe everyone should be tolerant of others, besides most of the users who don't like furries on here are because of a few they've known of. some of the reasons given by people don't even concern much of the furry community.

and I'm not saying you should like them, I'm just saying to be fair. most intolerance is caused by misconceptions.

exactly. the rules of this forum are what we follow, not necessarily what we believe to be fair or unfair.

You make a good point. But that being the case, this topic may as well be locked. The very nature of the subject is already fostering conditions that go against the aforementioned rules of this site.

ML, You're not even trying to hold it back. There's a difference between simply accepting that humans hate and trying to become a better person by not hating. If you look throughout this forum, you'll see some members have never once posted a hateful comment. Are these members void from human nature? NO. They have made themselves better people.

The subject of this topic didn't need to cause such a dramatic argument. The subject was "Are you a Furry?" not "I HATE FURRIES. DO YOU?"

I'm not a hateful person and I don't hate all furries (like I said, i highly dislike a select few who go a certain way about it).

I didnt say people HAVE to hate, I merely said its natural. Hate is never a good thing, but it happens.

Yes, hate happens, but like I said (and was ignored again), we can at least try to hold back hateful comments.
