^ I didn't congratulate you on Facebook because there were already so many comments, but I'm glad the baby finally came, and things are okay. ^^

I didn't think we'd talk at all today, but I spoke to her for a few minutes anyway, and that made me happy so today wasn't that bad. :)

I got a bit hysterical at one point as I thought I was going to pass out, but Jamie calmed me down and once the doctor gave me the epidural it took the edge off the pain. I had it a bit too late though so it wasn't as effective as it would have been but... she decided 'Ohokayimgonnaarrivelikerightnow' so... Yeh. I'd totally do it again though ^^ all pain is forgotten about once bebe is here.

I admire anyone who goes through all that. Not everyone has the courage to do so. :cutesimba: Although I've already said it on Facebook, congratulations, again. Your daughter's adorable! <3

Think I know what you're talking about  don't let it get you down x

-------

I said it on FB too Shadow but OMG CONGRATULATIONS SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND PRECIOUS AND IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU

My mum had an epidural with my sister - she had been told by everyone she knew that had been pregnant that the pain would be unbearable so it was literally the first thing she asked for as she walked through the door
When I was being born though I think I was either coming too fast or there were no anaesthetists available so I was au naturale xD my mum always talks about the bath she had straight after I was born and how it was the best bath of her life and it was just so relaxing

But yeah, I have great admiration for anyone who has the ability to grow/carry another human inside of them and then push it out  scary as it sounds I hope someday I'll be able to do it. It's amazing how you have so much love for someone else when you've only known them a few moments...

#MOTHERHOOD I guess...

---------

Is melancholy what you would use to describe this? I guess so.

So many people are going back to/starting Uni and so many of them are headed off to these exciting places all across the UK, and part of me kinda wishes I was going with them :/

This is a weird thought to have, given how unhappy I was when I went away, but the more I think about it (which has been an awful lot this year) maybe the course and homesickness wasn't the problem I thought it had been. Sure, they were probably a part of it, but I think the main thing was I was just terrified out of my mind. It felt as though the life I had lived up until that point was gone forever, and I had been the one to pull the trigger by choosing to leave. Episodes of change leave me extremely anxious and I think this was the most debilitating it had ever been for me. I just couldn't function properly, and to think it was all the result of some chemical imbalances in my brain is really mind blowing to me.

Would things have been different if I had gone to Birmingham instead? I guess I will never know.

This seems to be a bit of an unsettling trend in my life: usually when popular opinion states that something is going to be really fun and great and a positive experience I experience the exact opposite. I wonder why that is?

Well, in a few years time I will be headed to France/Spain for a year to study, which will be farther afield than anyone else I know. I just need to make sure I'm ready for it...

What a weird mood I'm in... I must be hormonal or something idk
