Literally all my friends bar one just came down on me on our facebook chat - I understand they were probably just trying to help but it really felt like I was being shouted at.

Wow, they pretty much called me a waster for considering applying for JSA when I get home from Uni because I'm not going to have a job - they don't seem to realise that you're only allowed to keep getting it whilst you can prove you are looking for employment. Most of them seem to think I just want it so I can spent the next year sitting on my arse.

And then one of them was like "omfg what do you mean you haven't started your UCAS application???!?!?!?!?!?!"

Seriously? I've literally been putting all the time I have right now into getting out of here - I haven't had time for that.

Don't let them get you down, they're just upset at the moment. They'll come around when they've calmed down and realized that you're making the right choice. And if they don't come around, then they don't sound like very good friends.

I don't get that then, I would have thought they would have been understanding by default. I hope everyone calms down and realizes that you're doing what you need to. I'm sure it will be okay in time.

I'm sorry that happened :c I know what it's like when friends do stuff like that. It's especially frustrating when they talk about stuff that they haven't experienced and act like they know it better than someone who has/is gone/going through it.

jeez girl , when will your problems end
If i were to guess they were just worrying about you but putting pressure on someone who is going through such a difficult moment is an horrible idea. They (probably) don't fully realise how hard thoses times are for you just yet , because as s4mb4 said , they didn't experience something simillar.
