I travel by bus more often and it's easier to get around the city via bus so I'll choose that

Those aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.

But in the case that they are, I'd much prefer the former. Being interested in someone only to find that they're an ass is an everyday experience with few, if any, negative consequences.

Having someone hate me for something I didn't do is bad enough. That's already worse. If I had a crush who hated me but wasn't a douchebag, then I'd probably end up agreeing with them and hating myself. If someone hates me but they're not a douchebag, that means they're justified in their hate. By extension, that means I am deserving of it. Or, as the question would imply, I would be wrongly accused of doing something wrong. In that case, I'd be driven to insanity trying to prove that I was not at fault.

I'd stay in the group. Strength in numbers and all. We band together, mob the guy, use his weapons against him, and come out the victors. More people means more brawn, more brain, more collective resources. If we go one by one, we're more likely to be vulnerable to attack, being snuck up on from behind, trapped somewhere, etc., and then we wouldn't have any allies to back us up.

Really there's no reason to split up, if you think about it. Who's to say we don't all survive as a group?

^Well I find in horror movies where the group bands together they usually run into some grand trap set by the killer involving some highly extravagant kill. whereas when the protagonists end up splitting up one or two usually manage to survive

And too many lights/windows - I'm quite scared of the dark outside of sleeping, and even then I live in the suburbs so there's always SOME form of light.
