Okay, I'm back (I'm not so important to the topic of population genetics that it can't survive another few minutes in my absence): I sometimes have trouble reading tone and whanot in text, so when in doubt, I always throw in a "no offense" qualifier because 1) I obviously don't want to offend anyone and 2) I'm Canadian, and "sorry" (or some form of it) is basically the first word we all learn to say
