Yep. Oh, and can't forget the TLK III scenarios. It's the worst in those (though I've only read a few). For those who've literally never been on FFn before (because anyone who has knows what I'm talking about), they all look something like this.

Then there's like a million chapters about the cubs interacting and no real story, or (like you said) a bunch of stuff that happens in like two sentences and makes no sense and often involves TLKII-esque retconning. Like in one I read the hyenas kidnapped this cub and like nobody even looked for them and the cub just went along with it and ended up attacking like her whole family because OMG TEH HEYANS TREAT ME BETTER. And I think Kovu died after getting bit in the shoulder like once. lolol Logic.

more than one PM with something along the lines of "hey can you write an x-chaptered lion king fanfic for me?" (x being something ridiculous and completely unreasonable, like 40 or 60) in the subject title. And then they go into detail with this long and usually-cliche plot involving one of their OCs interacting with the main characters and yeah, it's a complete crapstorm. So I have to politely tell them no. I mean, some people offer me ideas for stories, and I'm okay with taking that into account or doing it if it seems interesting (Trampled started that way), but I'm honestly not going to spend forever writing about your OC for you; you can do it yourself. Not to mention it takes me like 2 years to do something good that has 40 chapters in it, even in the best of circumstances, so it's not like you're asking me for just a few hours of my time. Making a new story is a huge undertaking for me, and it's one I take very seriously. People need to understand that.

After that I think I had to shut down my computer and take a walk:
I'm with Haraka on this one. I also got a request to write an M-rated story with Timon and Uncle Max, but I'm 99% sure the person was just trolling me since I specifically mentioned that I thought that pairing was weird in my profile (and yes, there is at least one story that ships them, if I remember). So I told the person off and they never responded. XD
I did accept one of those non-M-rated requests, like those I mentioned, once (why, I will never know), but like I said they wanted like sixty chapters about their OC. I stopped after like three chapters because it wasn't really something I wanted to write about.
Not to mention they didn't even bother to R&R or respond to my PMs after like the first chapter. Ugh.
PS I think I found my new fave smiley. This pretty much sums up a typical day looking at FFn for me now. lol
I'm so excited. But yeah, tbh, I was really only expecting it to go for maybe 30k words, or about 10-15 chapters, when I started, and I didn't have a whole lot planned out back then. I guess when you really like a story your imagination gets going and next thing you know it's huge and you're proud of it and it's incredibly important to you.
