Pretending to marry fictional characters... well, that's a little weird. I wouldn't say its ridiculous, though. It's a bit farther than I'd go, but it isn't ridiculous.
Honestly, I kinda wish I had the mental capacity to believe such a thing. If I could convince myself that I'm in a relationship with a fictional, loyal, playful, brightly colored Nala, glistening in the tranquil sunlight of the savannah... it would lighten my day. I'd be a much happier person if I had that sort of unconditional comfort and companionship, even if it's only imaginary.
Isn't that right, Nala? C'mon, let's go get some lion chow before it gets too dark. You can get back to your catnap in a little bit. I'm sure Mufasa wouldn't mind if you stay over here for a while.
