There is no certain defination. What a furry is depends on a persons opinion. The most accepted definition is that it's a person who feel's that they have a stronger connection to animals (or the spirit of an animal).

By the way, I've seen people to try pretend that they're animals in the fursuits and.. well.. pretend they're doing inappropriate stuff with other furries or plushies. I'm not even joking and it's really disturbing >.> Now THESE are some furries I dislike, too.

Some furries do some really weird things, but it's always behind closed doors and in private with others who are fine with what's going on.
