Sometimes I just close the lid on my laptop and roll over to nap in the middle of the night (I use my laptop on my bed all the time) and tell myself to get up in 10 minutes to do something else on the Internet and then I wake up and BAM it's 4AM and I didn't turn the router off (I'm supposed to do that before going to sleep).

And I don't have a nightlight either.

Or, you could just open a window. What's wrong with moonlight?

Maybe she has air-conditioning on and isn't supposed to open the windows. Maybe her windows are frosted glass and not clear transparent glass.

I personally would choose not to have any light sources other than my PC (and router). Even with my heavily frosted glass windows and dark curtains, some moonlight still comes through and annoys the hell out of me. Every time a gust of wind comes by, the tree outside my window sways and its shadow (cast into my room because of the moonlight) moves accordingly and it's so super distracting.

^ I only meant opening curtains, not the entire window itself. :P

I always sleep with my blinds open. The little bit of light that comes in from outside makes it dark enough to sleep, but bright enough to still see once my eyes have adjusted.

Although, I have to admit, sometimes it's nice to be able to hear the crickets outside with the windows are open. Only problem with that is that I end up being awakened at the buttcrack of dawn, by cars driving across the street.

Yep, my mouse is falling apart.

I can't even middle-click while holding her in mid-air, because the threading for the screws holding her bottom plate to her main body broke, and there's effectively only a single screw holding her in one piece.

While I like how the mouse wheel has lost virtually all of its tactile click (those clicks slow me down anyway), now I get this slight (albeit annoying) vibration coming from the spring inside rubbing against the mouse wheel shaft.

The paint has just worn away in some areas.

I'm going to have to find a way to get a new (and proper) mouse before she just dies on me completely.
