^ They changed a lot of things (and definitely for the better), but they have yet to change the 2-3 second lag every time I click something, because a page has to reload. I really wish the game was written in flash instead of php. It gets annoying after a while.

That's why I basically left after the beta update. Or was that alpha? I don't know. Doesn't matter, my pride basically died off when they reset everything, anyway.

I am such a freaking idiot.

I have probably about 20 GB of archived files on my hard disk. I keep backups of everything that isn't in cloud storage. Everything can be retrieved, if I need to do just that.

Or so I thought. I haven't lost a file in nearly two years... until now.

WHY THE HELL DID THAT PROGRAM DECIDE TO OVERWRITE THE FILE THAT IT OPENED? WHY? WHY DOES THAT HAPPEN? THAT'S BLASPHEMY. IT'S MADNESS! SONOFAFREAKINGFRACKINGBISCUIT! IT DIDN'T TELL ME IT WAS GOING TO DO THAT!

One click, and all that work is gone. The file is overwritten. It's corrupted. I can't even recover it with a tool designed to do just that. It's hopeless.

I thought I had everything backed up. But I've been trying to recover this one file, and I can't. It's not in my archive. It's not in cloud storage. It's not on my laptop's hard disk, either.

Now, I only have one option. I can either re-write the program, or give up. If I chose to re-write it, it will take days, because I forgot how I wrote it, and I'll need to re-learn everything. That is work, and that is time I don't have.

Screw that wrapper, for killing my file instead of copying it. Screw W7, for only creating backups on my primary disk by default, without my knowledge. Screw Regulus, for not creating a copy of that file, the one that I've used more than any other since I started archiving. Screw it all!

*Gets out of pissed off chair*
