We're not talking a few whining posts here and there right now though, we're talking topics in Personal Issues about real, serious problems. To me that isn't "normal". It really does seem like a lot of people are suffering right now for different reasons and I find that very sad.
You got a point there, but it also happens often enough that I stumble upon people who whine about being depressed only because they feel like they aren't standing in the MLK ''spotlights'' enough. But let's not turn this into a heated debate before I'll be accused of ''trolling'' again... I wasn't even talking about people, but just the depressing sphere arround MLK in general.
I definitely see where you're coming from as well, because sometimes I do suspect that this is done for attention only... and to get sympathy from half of MLK over something that might not be half as serious as they make it out to be. That, I'm very much against. I'm not saying it has definitely been happening because I can't prove that obviously, it's just a feeling I've gotten occasionally when looking through certain posts. But when it comes to serious problems, I don't think anyone should ever be discouraged from seeking help and support on this forum.
(Oh, and you weren't trolling lol.)
