I'm working more in the next three days than I usually do in a week. And since two of those days are holidays, I'll be working harder and rushing the whole time. Which is awesome because I'm sick. Tell me again how going to college makes someone successful? Life is just a bunch of cruelty decorated in cheery wrapping paper.

More and more I keep hearing people my age talk about having to go into work sick. And it breaks my heart. I remember my parents were always able to take time off when they got sick. That's how it should be, really, and it's sad to hear that my friends aren't able to take sick leave
