Idiotic, but ALIVE.

See, as someone who likes Pokemon, Pokemon Go isn't that big a deal to me. All the same, I do have the app and would like to hatch my eggs... only I rarely get an opportunity to walk with the app open since most of my walking is for my job. I saw this YouTube video where a guy was saying that if you tape your phone to your ceiling fan, and turn it on to a slow speed, the phone thinks you're walking and it works towards hatching your eggs. He warns his viewers to be careful in doing such a thing as it could be dangerous. The fan in my room already sounds like it's about to fall off the roof if I run it. I was afraid this would go badly if I tried it. So what did I do? I got some masking tape and taped my phone to the fan blade and turned it on. Immediately my phone flew off, knocked over a knick knack of mine, ricocheted and ended up behind my bed. Said knick knack is plastic and is fine. I set it back up, and then had to move a little cabinet that's next to my bed so I could pull my bed out and retrieve my phone, which also was thankfully unharmed. Then as I was typing this a cave cricket came at me and out the corner of my eye it looked like a spider and startled me.

Yep. Lol.

Sick and a bit annoyed. Someone needs to get home soon, or I'm going to be late for work.

There's something very, very scary about playing Universe Sandbox 2 in VR...
It's the same thing but it's in VR and everything appears to scale, so you can literally spawn a full scale plante Earth, and it's in front of you and it's absolutely massive and fills your entire POV, then you can launch the moon at it and the moon is the size of two Death Stars rolled into one massive white ball of death and you can watch Earth be destroyed by having the Moon collide with it and watch the crater appear and spread throughout, filling your entire view with a massive orange glowing Earth that's slowly being destroyed in real time...

But the planets can be scaled up so they actually are properly planet sized.... And it's terrifying. It makes you feel very, very small. Plus if you look down you're floating in space and are freaking out about the fact you aren't falling.
Did I mention the game is scary? It's not even a horror game, you just get to mess around with the universe in full scale Virtual Reality. But having a full scale planet slowly getting closer and closer to you, I can't. It's the most terrifying thing I have experienced playing with the Vive so far.

Sounds intense, Flip.

I'm feeling... not bad! Not bad at all. Actually kinda good. Work isn't too bad most days, and at least one of my coworkers is a friend of mine now... first friend I've made irl in... literally years. I've gotten so busy and have next to no time for creativity anymore, and that's kind of a bummer, and I'm still not hearing from my close friends very often, but life could be a lot worse than it is right now.
