you see TPAM , to me this site is like an island , isolated from the realm of stupidity that exist otherwise on the internet.

One of the prime exemple of something i despise is facebook. How many people actually use it simply to contact true friends? What is the point of having thousands of "friends" in your list. It is absolutely and utterly pointless. And of course , people use it to post stupid pictures , which they will probably regret for a long time afterwards.

the selfies are another exemple. Take a picture of yourself in the bathroom and in a stupid pose and send it to the internet , you're going to be a star , really.
it's alright if you take yourself with a monument or something you don't see everyday i guess , but thoses people who just want their face on the internet are ridiculous

^^ Very true TPAM. I had an instagram for 3 days before deleting it. It was everything wrong with people my age condensed into a list of photos. I'm talkin about people who post the really stupid stuff I mean.

I haz skype: I'm hardly ever on it - If we all did get together on Skype I might act all shy and awkward at first but eventually warm up. Once I'm at Uni I'll need to be on Skype way more often to talk to my parents/friends

I have instagram, TPAM - there are a few selfies on it but apart from that it's a few drunk posts from my birthday and random crap for the rest of it. Hopefully I'm not an Insta-tard in your opinion

The way I see it, TPAM, things like instagram and Facebook will be nice to look back on in 10 years time, because it's pretty much a record of my life in a sense. Like, I'll be able to show my children pictures from my school formal, or my University graduation, and I can look back on my wedding day and people'e birthdays and stuff and see who I was friends with and everything. I think that's really nice

i meant that many persons just use it in a dumb way. posting a pic of yourself bathing in vomit because you were drunk is something you'd want away from the internet right ?

I know that in france, that is so common that when you tries to get a job , someone will check if you have a facebook and what you can find on it. they'll dig up everything to see how you really are.

By no means i said it was bad by itself , but the misuse is. People just want to be in the spotlight most of the time.

^Don't worry TPAM, I didn't think you meant anything bad by it - I know exactly what you mean!! A lot of girls at my school exclusively post pictures of themselves and what clothes they are wearing - I'm annoyed by that
