But yeah, I'm not really convinced of America's 'greatness' anymore, a lot of people (mostly the stereotypical loudmouthed Americans) still are, but tbh I'm just... I dunno... really disillusioned with this country. My dad gave 18 years of his life serving in the military and he hardly even gets any thanks for it. If you see the way they treat soldiers here, it's embarrassing. And really, I don't think I'd be able to do the same. From where I've been (so UK, France, Spain and Italy) it's very nice indeed 















. If I pursue evolutionary biology I will definitely try and go for Cambridge, you know, where Charles Darwin himself went. And also like I said before, Europe has placed higher value on particle theory (and science in general) than the US right now. The only time our country wants to change the world scientifically is when we are in political and social rivalry with someone else, that is not the reason to pursue knowledge. You get what I'm saying?
