I mean I'm 24 and have no intention of settling down just yet. I do think my current girlfriend may be the one (anyone who doesn't immediately dump me when they discover I have a tarantula is pretty much a keeper) but like, if we're still together in around two to three years which is my ideal time to propose and start settling down, then sure but if not then that's okay, I'm not forcing myself to do stuff until I want to.

Plus the good thing about waiting until a bit later and living your life first is you'll have a lot of interesting learning experiences that you can share with your kid(s) when they get a bit older. I like the idea of that :3

^ Pretty much what you guys said, lol. My parents were 38 and 37 when they had me and as you can imagine, there's a lot of life experiences there, especially for my dad. He was someone that I really, really looked up to growing up.

But yeah. My parents got together in their twenties and were married for like seven or eight years before they had any kids at all. Didn't end up working out anyway but you know, they definitely waited. If I ever have kids (and that's a big ever), I intend to wait as well. I'm not really itching to do anything like that at this point, nor do I expect that to be the case for at least another decade, if not longer.

Granted, I'm not an expert on this subject, and it's not like my parents are exactly any success story, but I thought I'd weigh in.

Feeling pretty good, except I really need to write this essay. :ocwap:

Stay single! Life is simplE and you only have to please yourself! (Well it woks for me, but I guess the majority of people aren't so comfortable with being alone :D)

I'm feeling lazy and not wanting to go to work an hour early, like I am.

Bah relationships are very tricky. I live in a state of cognitive dissonance now; ever wanting love while also wanting to avoid it like the plague because my experience hasn't been good. Then again I'm hardly a normal case and most people don't seem to have the problems I do in this regard, so don't pay me any mind.

These days I pretty much constantly feel completely and totally miserable because I don't have what I thought I did and caring for people now makes me feel... bad. It feels wrong. I also tend to feel like a burden on everyone because I'm so handicapped, and so relatively suddenly. I want to make money, but I can't seem to find any kinds of work I can even do. Even if I didn't feel...conflicted about caring for people, it wouldn't be right to ask someone to spend their life taking care of someone who can't work.

Yeah. I feel like total crap.

More specifically to this moment, I'm feeling very sleepy and annoyed that I was made to get up for nothing.

I was happy alone and wasn't looking as i was so messed up..... then my soul mate came along and just swept me away xD Guess the moral is to not go looking. Glad you're feeling better though QE ^^

I feel great. Lovely morning with my friends and as the course is over, we are going to continue seeing each other on Tuesdays so our little ones can play and we can eat cake :D
