Feeling upbeat now. Getting beaten by everyone on a gaming console is no barrier to another great day!

@Braveheart: Thanks. I'm getting a little help from my friend right now. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep peaceably. It was so much better when I could look to a future with my ex-crush, but doing that now would just make me cry more.

Feel better, Elsa.

I'm feeling pretty meh. I'm super tired but I've got the kind of headache that tends to make sleep hard. :notimpressed:

Well, sadly the only way is to move forward instead of backwards. Stop thinking about your Ex and look to the future...

That reminds me of my Ex. She was pretty but was a cheater.

@Julie: Thanks.

@Braveheart: I am, sort of. I don't think about my ex-crush too much anymore like I was before, but it's times like these or when I'm around babies and toddlers that really affect me. I guess what I need to do is find someone else to think about possibly having a future with, but that's really hard to do. I just don't know what to do about anything anymore.
---
A little better since I talked to my friend, but still sad, and I won't get anymore help from her tonight, since she's gone to bed. Maybe I should just cry myself to sleep.

You have a long life ahead of you. My advice is to stay calm and not rush into relationships yet. Slow & steady and everything will fall into place. Soon, you'll find the right guy. *hugs*

Thanks, Braveheart. I'm not rushing into anything. I won't even see any guys for another three months, probably, so it's not like I can anyway. But thanks for the optimistic words. They kind of help.

*hugs QE*

My finger is doing a lot better! Swelling is down and pain has been reduced to very slight soreness. I'll keep taking antibiotics to be on the safe side, though.

Other than my finger, physical-wise I'm alright if a bit tired, emotional-wise I feel pretty good :tiifu:

QE - Sorry to hear you're feeling down, I have been there and I know how sad it can make you.

Like others have said, you're only 18 and got alot of time ahead of you ^-^ I know being round babies makes you mega broody and makes you want them. But I think it's also important to live your life a little first :3

I've wanted kids since I was 23 and it was horrible having to wait (plus I was in a relationship where my ex didn't want kids so that made it worse) Got with my new partner and finally fell pregnant at 26 when we were financially stable. I love my little one to bits and wouldn't change it for the world, but I think it's important to live some of your life first :) I had holidays, attended many expos and had alot of me time before I had my little one and I'm pleased I had that time and waited till I was ready.

Mid 20s IMO is the perfect time to have a baby as it reduces the risks of miscarriage and that way you've had plenty of 'you' time before settling down with a life long commitment. ^^

If you ever wanna chat though, feel free to PM me :3 Sorry for the essay xD

I feel exhausted.. but... coffee is helping :B
