Oh god, I hate stubbing my toes! Especially my pinky toes, poor little darlings can't seem to even brush against a hard object without pain. The worst part of it is, over the past few years I've somehow grown way clumsier. Now I stub my toes constantly.

I'm so tired of people ganging up on me and not listening to a word I say and putting words in my damn mouth. And I'm sick of people arguing with me about stuff we agree on in an attempt to justify what we disagree on when it isn't relevant to the discussion, and I'm tired of people accusing me of arguing and treating me as if I'm angry for simply trying to have a discussion just because I don't agree with them.

I hate people. If they could just understand that I'm just trying to have a discussion without getting all pissy with me, maybe I'd have a longer fuse and not snap at people so easily. If people would treat me with respect instead of acting like I'm some rabid animal, maybe I'd get along with them a bit better.

Why doesn't anyone just actually listen to what I actually say?

Does it really surprise people that I have issues with contacting people and talking about things, when people get furious with me over things like a TV show?

Why do the people I care about treat me so badly so often? I'm not a bad person, and I wouldn't have the temper I do if people would just listen. I'm pretty awesome, but even awesome people can't get through life if they don't have people to turn to, and it's so hard to find people who actually listen that I seem to find myself forgetting how to talk when I do find them. I've grown so used to people overreacting to what I say, I can't imagine trying to talk to them about the stuff that actually matters.

So instead I just have the occasional whiny rant on here that will make me cringe later because I have to vent somehow and I don't know how else to do it.

I don't want to be worshipped, I don't expect people to always agree with me and I don't expect to always be right. I just want to be respected and understood. Why is that so much to ask? Why do I rub everyone the wrong way? What is it about me that makes people so quick to anger and quick to assume I'm angry? Under normal circumstances, I'm not an angry person, and disagreeing really doesn't mean I'm angry, either... I just wish I knew what it is that makes people think that. It happens to me on and offline so often...

I need help and I don't know how or where to get it.

Thanks. I'll keep it in mind.
The reason it messes with me so much is because even the people who normally get along with me seem to always take it personally if I don't agree with them about something, no matter how irrelevant it is, and it tends to lead to a lot of drama when all I was trying to do was talk. I know I'm not a bad person or anything, but considering it's a large majority of people, including normally really rational ones, it's got to be something about the way I communicate that creates the issue, and I don't think it's just my tendency to be blunt. I just wish I knew what it is so that I could avoid trouble more often.

Though I do know some people who are bound and determined to push all my buttons, but that doesn't bother me the same way at all, lol.
