Well for a debate how is science or evolution true? Wouldn't there be half bears and half dogs then how can species change all together at one time?
Now how far do you agree with the statement?
(Just felt like having a debate to practice my humanities)
If evolution wasn't real, we wouldn't have different versions of the same species. Take for example, Tigers, we have Sumatran, Bengal, Indochinese, Malayan, Siberian, and South China Tigers. Evolution is the change in a species over time, such as Giraffes getting extremely long necks, or a zebras stripes. It's not something that usually happens within the span of 10-100 years, but there are exceptions. Some people are trying to get white tigers recognized as a species of it's own, when in reality it's just a gene that causes a discoloration. However, in 300 years, the White Tiger could be recognized as it's own species,Panthera tigris album (album=white in latin, which is what the Scientific Naming system uses for naming animals.) ... Anyways, my point is that Evolution is just a bunch of subtle changes over time, it's not like one day you have a whale, and the next day you have a Zebra or something.

That's also an issue, what if you worship the wrong god, maybe the god you worship isn't the one that actually exists. Like say i worship the "Christian god", but the Roman gods are the true gods??.. You'd be in the same boat as not believing in god, wouldn't you? (That's how it works in Christianity, Islam, and Judaism at least..)

One of my old theistic beliefs was that life is a test, a test of what you will do, and how you "do" on that test, will determine what happens in the afterlife. Unfortunately, noone knows the questions to the test. lol, there's no study guide.. CRAP!

I believe in Eywa.

Srsly though, I'm Roman Catholic but I'm not really devout. I don't go to mass every week and I believe in things like gay marriage. So I don't know what that makes me...

Yes it is rediculous for them to change everyday but are you telling me that all of them change at once? Now how is that possible?

If a gene is enough to call upon a new species than we humans should have 6 billion species.
Rather I would say that a genetic drift from the original species creates a species that survives. This 'mutant' hybrids with others till its offspring reach a stable genetic structure creating a species. You may argue that we cannot see it ourselves but it exist. I may agree to it but we can't see our religious gods but it doesn't mean they do not exist. Rather I believe science is used as humanity's tactic of describing logic when in actual fact it has went way off course of the original truth and we human's are living in a false logic world whick closely resembles the unknown true laws of this universe that keeps in flowing like the blood of a growing child.
