What exactly do they teach in religion? In my country, atheists and Christians are really clashing, it's like a war :headache: I hope they expose you to at least every major religion and not just 1 or 2 IMO
Just the Bible, we're a quite religious country... The only atheists here are usually teenagers, all the adults I know are Christians. I could even go as far as saying that atheism is frown upon, actually. At least we don't have wars like you do. I seriously wish they could teach us about other religions, though... Thank God our teacher tells us about other religions when asked. He's really cool. xD

America doesn't take too kindly to atheists in the mainstream media, it seems. Although being one, I have to say I've recieved pretty decent treatment. Although statistics differ depending on which... statistics I look at (xD), I'd say America is losing faith rapidly. I don't know if it's just rebellious teens or they just don't care.

I actually thought about becoming Pagan, Buddhist, Taoist, or making my own religion but I'm too lazy >-<

I respect those religions an awful lot, actually.

Meh, I honestly believe that we should be taught all mainstream religions so we'll know which one suits our beliefs best. Heck, I converted into a Christian, but I don'y really put much basis on the Bible (I believe it was edited to suit the emperors of that time), but I'm at least interested in it like the other religions.

Gawd, we need another religion thread. XD

I hate discussing religion actually, it tears people apart. I hate debates, I hate argueing, I'd just like to leave it be =P

Btw, did you experience a connection problem with MLK like I just did...?

Meh, I don't really believe a shred in anything Christianity says (don't hate pwees) =P I tried forcing myself, praying, all that. Looked at both sides of the argument (and Islam) and decided it wasn't for me. Although, some of my good friends on here are Christian so I don't have problem with believers.

I love it when it's between friends and it doesn't get too serious actually. I like sharing views. xD

Eh, I understand. I was like that too, I still don't trust the Bible as a reliable source and I doubt I'll ever do.

And yeh, MLK did go down actually... Dunno why.

Anyway, back on topic before we start a war. xD
