Like a failure. First, it was Karson running off and angering our neighbor. And then, about an hour ago, my substitute teacher asked how many didn't send him our annotated article, and then I found out that my regular teacher saw me admit that (my sub never said to email/submit it. He said to bring it to class). My regular teacher probably thinks horribly of me now.
Someone who works at the hotel that I'm currently covering at a couple of times a week, made a very homophopic comment to me last night. Kicking myself for not calling him out on it and feel bad for my gay friends that I ignored it and didn't stick up for them.
^ Don't beat yourself up over it too much, I've kept quiet in response to those types of comments too, and I'm actually part of those the comments are against. Everyone does sometimes. I do understand the frustration, though.
^Thanks Julie. It's partly the fact that he was referring to colleagues of ours, a few of whom are friends of mine. Just hate homophobia with a passion.
