Oh it helped, I'm amazed at how well it turned out for an accident tbh. Still did another full 360 and fishtailed some more before it found traction again, (it was really flooded, there was about 2 inches of water on the road in the basin under the bridge,) but, the car was still able to drive over to the shoulder, there was no other cars around me when I lost control of it....It definitely could've been worse. If it ever has to happen, this seriously was the perfect way for an accident to go down.
That two seconds I didn't come out of the spin and the concrete just loomed in the windshield, though?
DO NOT WANT. At the moment I'm feeling (keepin' it on topic there, now is that pro or what? :p) relieved. Heard back from the mechanic and my car's going to be 2 to 3 weeks in the shop, but at least I'll get it back, there was just no way on earth I could've swung a car payment.
