As much as I want to say "that's bad," I'm not going to do that. Hitting the bridge (indirectly, I assume), in this case, is probably the best thing that could have happened. That loss of momentum is probably what brought an end to the hydroplaning in the first place. From what I can imagine, it could have been so much worse.
Not sure what to say about the car, though. That definitely sucks.
