This was way to overdramatized. The worked didn't hit him or anything, all he did was push him back into the crowd. Which I actually saw as the right thing to do, considering there were cars going down in the path and stuff, and he could of gotten seriously hurt. The guy was only protecting the kid by doing the actions he did. It doesn't matter if the kid has Autism, if he's doing something unsafe, he should be pushed into the right direction. I don't agree that he was go forceful, and it shouldn't of been a push as a first option. He should of first kindly walked him over to his parents, and if the problem persisted, he then could use a little bit of force. This certainly shouldn't be made a big deal of.

I do also think the parent's could of been doing a better job as to keeping their child back. There should of been no reason why the kid was running in the middle of the road. Especially while there are cars around.

Lastly, I'd like to say that any child that get nightmares, has to have medicine, and has stomach ulcers, he should not be going to Disney land anyways. Because no child should be that emotionally scared from being lightly pushed.

I do agree that this thing is over-dramatized, but it IS a sad fact that autistic people are always the victim of sick, harsh, cruel people. This vid is not the best example, but from my own life (I'm not autistic myself, but Thani has Asperger and I work with people who have autism) I can tell you so many examples of people with autism and ass that are treated like crap because these so-called "normal" people have to traumatize them with their sick, messed-up, look-I-think-I-am-God-so-I-can-judge-others- behaviour have to put them down again and again.

My best friend (a she) had a good friend who killed herself because of this crap. She had Aspergers syndrome and was bullied to death.

And no, I'm absolutely not dramatizing. I'm a pretty mellow person normally, but sadly enough we have to live in a sick society that is about taking others down, even into their grave.

Would she rather the guy high fived him and left him in the middle of cars and stuff?
I was surprised how DM pushed the kid quite fiercely but, it suits his character ;). No matter how you look at it: this woman has no more sense than she was born with. 1) That was not an attack. 2) "He walked out to high five the disney employee".. yes he walked out, that's quite an important part of the story. She says that as if it's fine for him to do that or someting.

Argh, common sense isn't very common!

That's true, this is all to blame at the mother. Poor child, he should have been more protected, this kid is going to get in big trouble if he keeps getting raised this way. At the other side....it IS a theme park aimed at children. (not literally aimed, like this guy did, lol) but you have to be prepared for children doing unexpected things, since all kids go crazy when you tell them the word "Disneyland"
It's truth, we all know ^^

To be fair, it isn't the mothers' fault that the kid got pushed back so harshly (in my opinion that was harsh). It could have been iprevented if the mother wasn't a goon and let her child walk out into a parade yes, but Darth Maul 'attacking' the kid was... well Darth Maul's fault... And that, let's not forget is the topic at hand here.

I think it's another set-up to try to get Disney to give them money. I don't know I'm just tired of people trying to make Disney seem like the bad guy when it's actually the person's own fault if something happens.

Control your kids already. Sheesh.
