I work at the moment. It's a dead-end job in retail. It's called Poundland and that's 'pound' as in £, not a place where you take animals, like most people outside the UK assume :P

I hope to get a better job soon (Or marry a man with a good job, so I can be a house wife!)
I'd love a job as a movie critic, magazine artist or something similar. Maybe even working with horses, but that's so dangerous!

I'm an incoming freshman for HS this September, but in my previous grade, I really liked American history (which I got the highest grades in) because I was very interested in the material I was taught. I did really well on all my history projects. I didn't really like Earth Science and Algebra 1 a lot, but I still managed to pass. I'm an artist and my new HS is an art school, which is their main thing. I'm very excited to attend my new HS, but it's still like a regular HS with the other classes I will be taking.

To be honest, I like going to school, I do. I'm really different from others. I actually like to learn new things every day and make new friends unlike most children/teenagers.

I had awesome teachers this year. They made learning fun for me during my 7th grade year and all of them weren't boring, except for my English teacher. (She wouldn't stop talking. I just didn't like her in general, but I got a good grade in her class, somehow. I guess I'm good in English.)

Unfortunately, I didn't study much and ended up with a C average for all my classes when school ended. Not that bad, it's still good but I could've done better. *been focusing too much on the Internet* I'm going into the 8th grade in September and I'm quite excited because it's my last year of middle school and we get to do more things than I did in my 7th and 6th grade year.

So, as of right now, 7th grade is my favorite year, and might always will be. My classmates and teachers were funny and I had a good time. I enjoyed Math, Science, P.E., and History. My homeroom teacher was kind too. I'm glad I was enrolled in this middle school I go to. I'm a huge teacher's pet as well. I usually get everything first before my classmates do, but I don't participate in class as much like we're supposed to. I'm a shy and quiet person and I don't like to talk much like other kids. I only get called on maybe once or twice.

Sorry if that seemed like a long post for this thread, but since it's meant for school discussion, etc., I thought it'd be all right if I could post this here.

I know Poundland because that's where Dr. Ashens of youtube gets all that cheap merchandise to review lol. That's where Chef Excellence came from

If I don't have a friend or two by my side, school is just frightening. I'm proud that I get all A's, except the occasional B in math. I can't stand math. I like writing, somewhat, but they always tell us what to write. And I always hold back if there's a chance I have to read it out loud. I have social anxiety disorder, so it's not exactly like I can focus fully on things either ^^

But I like science, too, my last teacher was a lecturer :headache: I pretend to be completely uninterested, but I love hearing about all the interesting things. I especially love studying evolution lol ^^'

I'm also a little too interested in religion, ha ha ha... I'm keeping myself updated on the battle between intelligent design and evolution being tought in schools. I don't go to a Catholic school or anything, so the school speaks nothing about religion. Well, except for singing "Gaudeamus Odie" and "God Bless the Broken Road" in choir xD

Math is getting far too difficult. I had to be put back in regular math because I'm struggling a little. I don't know, I instantly forget things. I think I have memory problems, ha ha ha...

And not to brag, but they wanted to pass me up twice back when I was in elementary school. I could be 2 grades ahead right now, but my mom didn't want me being with older children, she feared I might try and act older. So here I am, getting ready for 9th grade. Oh joy.

Welcome to my school life. :D

No, seriously, I'm exactly like you. Except that our school has religion as a main subject. xD I like literature, religion and science and despise Maths because they're far too difficult to me T_T

What exactly do they teach in religion? In my country, atheists and Christians are really clashing, it's like a war :headache: I hope they expose you to at least every major religion and not just 1 or 2 IMO
