It's easier for me to draw trees than it is for me to draw lions, or dare I even think about drawing humans. Seriously.

Well, not for me Humans are kinda hard, their eyes seem to be the most difficult thing for me. And for some reason I can never get the legs right for animals. What about you, what can you draw the best?

Landscapes, like forests, deserts, tropical islands, etc. That, and airplanes and vehicles, although I tend to do a lot of erasing. A lot. XD



It's not that bad. Just draw a tree, then one smaller behind it, and keep doing that until the entire canvas is filled. Although coloring that by hand would be very difficult, if you're doing it digitally I can't imagine it would be too difficult. Just use a gradient with careful layering for the light rays.

The best I can draw a human is a highly cartoonish stick figure like thing.

Easy for you to say, dude! That's like me pulling up a picture of a herd of zebras and antelope and saying, "here, draw this" XD Not going to try to do anything like that until I learn to draw a tree perfectly (not to mention there are hundreds of kinds of trees D:), and then learn light effects (it'd be easier to put in light digitally, I think). Thanks though, that is a really beautiful picture

That's the thing; there's many different types of trees. If you try to draw a tree of one type and it doesn't look right, chances are it's going to look like another kind. You can't fail. XD

The helicopter is 10x better than any machine I could draw tbh

Right now I'm drawing two rams fighting without refs xD I should use them more often so my anatomy doesn't come out all jacked up.

Haha I cant draw trees to save my life. Landscapes in general are a struggle for me =/ But the best way to practice is using refs. Eventually you'll learn to get it right all by yourself. Just takes practice xD this goes for lions etc. As well, not just trees lol.
