I'm scared of the dark, especially if I'm on my own. I'm worried that when I'm an adult and I have my own house and everything, there'll be a powercut in the area, and what could I do? I'd be in the dark!

snakes? I know some little girls who have 9 pet snakes 
but they're ring snakes, the most harmless snake in the world (I'm guessing).
it's a good thing you don't live around here. for two years, every house on my hill has killed about an average of 9 copperheads per year right near their house.
my dad even had a "pet" rattlesnake once that he caught. her name was Stanley. then he made her into a hatband, which he still has, lol.
